Travel in time with me to Plantersville Texas to 1974 when TRF was a young faire.  Does anyone have old pictures or video of TRF?  I would love to see how TRF has changed over time and through the years.

My mom has pictures from the mid-80s when they used to go- I'll see if I can get her to scan them!

Yes, it is an actual program guide. I have about 6 of them.

Oh, how I wish I could go visit the parents right now! In the monster family album, we have the before and after pictures of the carousel that TRF aquired from us in the late 80s. In the same section of said album, there are some random pics of us around the faire enjoying the free passes that came with our big check from the sale of said decrepit carousel. I do believe there is even a WENCHING!! I remember my uncle in front of the big swing in sherwood laughing so hard he cried and covered in lipstick.

Hrm.. I think I need to get mom to invest in a scanner...

Since this thread started, I've been digging around for an album I had with some SCA and TRF stuff from the late 70's, But I cannot find it anywhere! Too bad, cause there was some funny stuff in there !

I have this TRF poster on the wall of my office. I remember cutting the 'header' off of it when I hung it up because it was torn up, so I don't know how old it is, but pretty sure its from the late 80's, I kind of stopped going to TRF after that for a few years....

OMG I would love to see old pics! I wish I had some. :( My parents' first date was at TRF in the eighties (I'm thinking it was pre-determined I would be a rennie... :P), but they don't have any pictures from that. :( I've always been curious to see the TRF of the past. :D
Oh... Shiny!

Wow! That was wonderful to see! Thanks for sharing the link Gwen!
I'll have to see if my dad can dig up some of his old pics. This is fun!
