Oh how I miss the snow in February at the castle. I recollect one night it snowed and rained so much the river was so engorged Humphrey was swept down stream and had to be rescued by a band of marauding and ale swilling Vikings...what ho!... those were the days.

Ahh, the Master Chief of the "Castleteers", (never will we forget thy prep of food thy would have at the "Castle"). hope all is well and good with thee and thy Lady. this last "Gather'n" at the "Castle", we's had about 60 to 70 rennies there and it once again was a grand time. as far as the snow goes, our "Captain humphrey" has been sett'n the dates a little earlier in the fall (mid Nov.), and a little later after the New year (end of March), so's any troubles with snow has been resolved and the "Castleteers" do not have to be concerned with "THE HILL OF DEATH".  
mayhaps thee can make a "Gather'n" once again someday, would be good to see thee and just sit and talk on the past years since thy departure.
