Let's see...

Spending time at Lady Nicolette's.
The bartender at Bluesboro...amazing what you can get for a wink and a smile!

Waking up and finding two bottles of champagne at the front door buried in the sand.
Getting through the auction...and seeing a nun and the first words out of my mouth were, 'Oh. My. Gawd.'
Raising over 1600.00 for RESCU
Musical Men and getting whomped by Queen Bonnie! Because you can't push and shove our Queen...
Sharing the spumante and 'returning' the empty the next day.

Tailgating with mimosas and croissants...
The handfasting. Looking over at Lord Jarhead tearing up a bit (YES, YOU DID TOO!) and then looking at Molden who winked and grinned at me and made me start giggling....

Dinner at Chef Wang's where Laird took over like he was storming the beach at Normandy!
I actually felt sorry for the manager!
Having Porter come up behind me and start singing 'Freebird'.
The entire room singing 'A Health to the Company.'

Watching Mad Jack dash across the benches and not even spilling a drop of his rum....The monsoon on Monday and seeing two full moons come out in the daylight.
And wondering who will pay for those kids' therapy.

There is lots more...

But mostly spending time with those who are dear to me.
THAT was priceless.

Show me your tan lines..and I'll show you mine!

I just want to be Layla.....

Capt Lucy

Meeting a world full of new friends (If you all could even fathom what this weekend meant to me - you gave Lucy life again and reminded me why I love faire!)
Spending time with old ones
Hugs and kisses....
especially kisses....   :-*
Loki anyone?
Being talked into coming back Monday by an army of attentive men (and women)
Wenching!!!!
Watching musical men (I'm in next time...minus the hoop of doom!)
Ditching my escort Monday and getting caught without one...lol
Getting a personally delivered rose :D
Really loud burping
A great photo op
Remembering that one of my co-workers was there...lol
Chef Wang's and my boy toy...lol, he went so willingly!
Everything...just everything.

I'll miss you all so much!  I can't wait until we invade again!

The first thing that I'll remember will be being the first victim of faire before the faire even started! Nothing quite like fainting in a bar with 75 new friends. Especially, when you've only had 2 or 3 drinks. Watch out for those small power shots you can buy at the convenience store. The fairmily came to the rescue with plenty of help long before the ambulance showed, only to be told I'm okay and leave. We had a great time the rest of the night. Course it was hard getting a drink after that. On Saturday we had the great surprise of seeing Queen Bonnie and I helped (shelve) the banner at opening gate for a few pics. Spending the day with friends old and new, the auction and musical men. On Sunday we had to leave early due to our vacation time, but we were able to attend the beautiful handfasting of Escarlata and Leinad. I had a great week in all and truly enjoyed spending time at faire with so many fairmily. I'm still playing major catch up here, but have some pics to try and get posted.
Don't forget to smell the roses, but watch out for the thorns!

t' Mikey - A 2nd take was *ahem* attempted because the videographer was unable to capture it the first tyme through... LJ started it by asking Escarlata if she wanted to stop to remove her slippers again (she was still barefoot), then as we entered the ring, yours truly popped off "geez! Am I gonna have t' poke my eyes so I get all teary like last tyme?" and well that pretty much shot that take! HEY ESC!!! I DID SPEAK HEARTFELT WORDS.... I just chose a different tyme to do so.  :D

An Lupa - That's what I always say about going to Faire! I'm off to see my friends - the ones I know and the ones I haven't met yet!

I heard you say that and just about fell backwards off the bench.

I can't believe that I was the first to hit the grass during Musical Men. I guess my, um, "heart" reallly wasn't in it LOL.

Yeah, sorry about that Blue.  I wasn't ready for the rush of three lasses tackling me that quickly.

Now that the after effects of TN have moved out of my life, I can look back on it and remember oh so many wonderful things. I hope to catch everyone in 2010 at RenDezvous!!!

Lady Renee Buchanan

I read through everything quickly, but I didn't see:    Two kilted Teers standing in the middle of a downpour on Monday treating everyone in the tent to the family jewels.  Including the 2 teenage couples who were about 15 and they just about fainted.

Nights after faire at Lady Nicolette's house with great company, delicious food, and lots of libations.

The wonderful Teer who presented me with my first rose.  He was so gallant!

I became an Ette that weekend.

Sitting in the first aid tent on Monday with Queen Bonnie, Lady Nicolette, Athena, and me wearing ice packs and cold, wet towels around our necks, while Steve sat there patiently as we gabbed and gabbed for over an hour, and the EMTs just sat there and listened to us in amazement (probably that 4 ladies could talk so much, all at the same time, to each other and everyone else and know what was said!).

If there was one thing that really showed how we are a family, even though many wonderful things happened, it was singing Health to the Company, led by our good Queen Bonnie, at the restaurant.
