Eight (8) kilts? Seriously, you should send him an invoice for your labor on that one. Mmmf, good luck and I hope we get a group photo at the end of it all!
Garb: lovingly hand-washed, gently pressed, and hung in climate-controlled closet. Mundane clothing: usually on floor.

Oh he owes me BIG time for this one.  I hopefully will be able to get a group shot of the men and boys all in their kilts.
May the stars always shine upon you and yours.

Well an update is in order.

I have finished the long doublet, shirt and pants from smp. 4059. The short one is almost done, just needs fasteners on it. Which I have. and then this weekend making the shirt for me.

Pictures forth coming in the Finished thread.  ;D

Well, I am bumping this up as 2010 draws to a close to see how we all did! I just made a list of what I actually accomplished this year, and it doesn't resemble my goal list AT ALL! LOL

Here's what I said I wanted to make:
1. Gimli tunic for Milord
2. Corded corset
3. new middle-class skirt
4. doublet bodice
5. Margo Anderson Tudor kirtle
6. Promenade kirtle
7. a hand-made linen shirt (for me or Milord, I am undecided)
8. Some piece of Milord's Tudor Claus ensemble

And here's what I DID make:
1. Bum Roll
2. Much Ado skirt for Milord's mum
3. Much Ado skirt for me
4. Much Ado bodice for Milord's mum
5. Much Ado bodice for me
6. Much Ado vest for FIL
7. Much Ado vest for Milord
8. Gimli tunic
9. Tree skirt

Projects I started & didn't complete:
10. Green corded corset (item #2 above)
11. Corded curved-front gown
12. Frankensmockup (mockup for a smock of embroidered linen I'm working on)
13. purple skirt (item #3 above)

Yet again, no progress on Promenade, and I didn't finish a project I really wanted to wear to Fair this year (the corded curved-front gown), so overall I'm sort of disappointed in my output. And yet I finished NINE projects! Seven of them pretty big ones, and a couple that were long overdue!! So it's good for me to see everything listed out like this. The people I sewed for were absolutely delighted with their garb, so at least I made somebody happy!

How did the rest of you do?

Lady Rebecca

So since I made my list in August, I think I'm cheating, but this is what I have accomplished since I got my sewing machine in May of this year:

-Pirate pants
-red chemise with blackwork
-Frankensmock
-reversible Ren corset
-turquoise late Victorian skirt and jacket
-blue late Victorian skirt and jacket
-late Victorian bicycling skirt
-1930's cocktail dress
-short white crinoline
-short bloomers
-satin and tulle circle skirt
-black underbust bodice
-bum roll
-ruffled "bustle" (that seems more like a bum roll to me)
-white chemise with blackwork
-navy velvet doublet bodice
-navy velvet cartridge-pleated overskirt
-underskirt with snaps for forepart
-hand-beaded forepart
-bustle to go with a Queen of Hearts costume
-1850s cartridge-pleated skirt
-matching 1850s jacket
-1850s blouse
-decorated two straw bonnets
-decorated three baskets
-green cartridge pleated skirt
-brown boned sash (with the points in the front)
-one crocheted shawl
-two crocheted scarves
-satin-lined wool frock coat with attachable capelet

I think that's everything...

So basically, I think the only thing I didn't get to on my list was finishing the hand-binding on my 17th cent stays.

Arte's Year in Review

I wanted to make these:
1. Steampunk Mad Hatter (includes mad scientist, aviator and salesperson) for Wicked Faire
2. Blackwatch corset, matching skirt and maybe a sash.
3. Light green florentine w/maroon trim ala Unicorn
4. Navy wool gamurra.
5. Camicias and partlets.

I only got these done:
1. Steampunk Mad Hatter (includes mad scientist, aviator and salesperson) for Wicked Faire
2. Blackwatch corset

It was at that time hubby and I moved from NY to NC. All I got done after that was my new sewing room.

You haven't had enough coffee unless you can thread a sewing machine while it's running.
