Sure, not renaissance but a great series with tons of potential...

Anyone watch this show? I think it was done way better then the Tudors and many other period shows I've seen. Ray Stevenson and Kevin McKidd were perfect as a mismatched duo being swept away amongst the tide of history....

I would really like to get some replicas of their equipment, as most roman equipment I see on the web looks to garish and less real world as it did in the series....although maybe that was HBOs fault.

and the clothing looks damn comfortable....

I have the two seasons of ROME on DVD. The sets are chock gull of extras as to how this fantastic series came together. One of my faves from HBO after DEADWOOD.

I love the show...I can't stop watching it and its only two seasons...which is very sad to me.
