we don't have to deal with the opening day traffic (as we will be getting to faire well before the traffic starts, and leaving well after it's over), among other perks, such as free admission, etc.
i really enjoy working the faire! i think it's so much more fun than being a patron, even though you don't get to see or do as much. this'll be my second year working (last year, i was a volunteer at the parrot house, which is where i met my wonderful boyfriend!) and i hope to be working for the other years that i go.
