I was shopping for new faire shoes last weekend, and saw these in these in the store.  I'm not a huge croc fan, but I figure someone might want to know about it! I got a kick thinking of all you faire folk walking around with these under your skirts.

I ended up going with a nice pair of leather mary janes from Born. I'm really excited to try them out... They are super duper comfortable.

I have a pair of the airwalk version they are comfy but if you dont wear socks your feet sound like whoopie cushions

I have worn my plain old original (and hugely UGLY) crocs under my skirts on wet days, simply because they have more traction than my medieval moccasins or the Naturalizer mary janes I have... but as Scarby runs April & May, I'm not sure I would wear this version of crocs, simply because my feet would get too hot, and once my feet are hot, my whole body is hot, which, come May in TX, is NOT a good thing.

Nice find, IR!

I have the original Croc Maryjanes (not for Fair, but b/c I have a chronic hip injury and need really cushy shoes while it flares up), but these are much more attractive!

My wife just got a pair of the croc mj's, and absolutlely loves them. They haven't done a faire yet, but I'm sure they will.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with catsup.

If you want true comfy faire shoes -either have a pair made to your feet or add those $10 gel insoles.  The insoles really work in any kind of shoe.  Grab a pair of china slipper mary janes (about $8) and the gels from CVS or another generic drug store, and you have a perfect pair of period looking shoes that are cheap.

I dont know HOW I missed this thread! I LOVE my crocs and have considered getting a pair for renn faires. I dont think I have ever worn anything so very comfortable. :)

I can't insert a pic right now :(  but zappos also had these which looked comfy without the heals :)
