If you can scrape the money together try to get two pair.  I wear contacts for my extremely poor eyesight and I don't know how many times I've cut a contact in half by accident when I go to screw the cap on my lens case 

And not to mention that contacts are only good for about 8 hours before they start irritating the eye due to drying out.  Pop out the first pair, eat something while letting your eyes wet themselves again for about half an hour to an hour, and then pop in the second pair.

The site that I posted allows you to buy the singularly which could save you a bit if you want to have a replacement on hand. Although that means both your eyes would have to be the same size which is not always the case.
