Need some help.

I'm a relative newbie to dressing for the ren fest. My boyfriend recently bought me some skirt hikes, rings that go on my belt to keep my dress out of the mud. But I have no idea how to use them. I'm used to just tucking it up. Any help?

They should have two rings, right?

Pull the fabric up through both, then back down through the lower one.
