Local 13 (TX, OK, LA) IWG Wenches! Election Results

My apologies to those of you on Facebook, MySpace, or TXIWG who are seeing this info multiple locations. I'm trying to be sure that every pinned International Wenches Guild wench is aware that elections are afoot, and knows that they have a say in the leadership of the Local for the coming term.


OK ladies, as per instructions from Lars, all discussion is being held on
Wench.org, nominations have been made and accepted as follows:

Isabelle Fawkes

Vice Madame:
Lady B
Erinesse

Platforms have been posted, questions have been asked, and answers are coming
in.
This is YOUR Local, and YOU have a say in this... go to the thread here:

they will need to be answered.
If for some reason you are unable to post questions, please PM or email the
outgoing leadership: Madame Countess Mary, Vice Madame Isabelle Fawkes, or Dame
RaevynCait(me) for assistance getting questions posted.

Discussion is open through Sunday, January 31st. Voting begins on February 1st
and runs through February 7th. Cast your vote by emailing Lars at
Scribe@..., with your name, wench number, and your choices for each
office.

Is there a specific reason that we don't have a guild presence at TRF? Hurts my feelers not to have my sister wenches organized at my home faire...

I didn't even realize that you were a member of the guild! YAY! There was a hostel there for several years, I believe behind Royal Rubbers & Readers, however participation waned, and the Lt. Madame on site was unable to get other wenches to support the hostel (by donating water, etc), or show up for meet & greets, so she resigned her position at the end of the 07 season.  The agreement with Rubbers & Readers was that that particular wench, who worked for the shoppe be Dame of that hostel. 
This past season was the first in several years that did not see an invasion of the Madame, Vice Madame and myself all together, at least one weekend of the season.  We would LOVE to have more participation at TRF, and work on getting an official presence, perhaps even a hostel, however that will take work on the part of wenches more local to TRF. When we have had invasions of Wenches who call Scarby home, we do our best to post it on Wench.org, and try to get it cross posted to TXIWG, though admittedly, we don't always succeed with that bit.
If you aren't registered at Wench.org already, I encourage you to do so, as well as joining the TXIWG Yahoo group, and make your voice heard, perhaps what we need is a wench or two from Houston willing to step up and work on organizing the wenches in that area to become more active.

All right all you Local 13 pinned IWG The time to cast your votes is NOW!

Please email your votes to Scribe@wench.org, with a subject line of "Local 13 2010 Elections, Wench (your pin #). In the body of your email please be sure to include your selections for each post, as well as your name, and registered Wench name & pin #.  It is a secret ballot, and Lars will not be posting anything other than the winners names once all votes are counted.

Like the Texas gubernatorial races, our Madame & Vice Madame are elected independently, as rather than as a slate of running mates, so please choose whichever candidates you wish to lead the Local for the next 2 years, and encourage our growth, and increase involvement of wenches throughout the Local.

You have until Sunday, February 7th to cast your vote.

I know both of you will do a great job. I am looking forward to working with
you in your new roles.

Let's all give our support and encouragement to our new officers! Remember
they cannot do it alone--they need the support of all the members of Local
13 to make their term of office successful.

I am sure that in the coming weeks a few things will be planned to get together in preparation for Scarby.
