Eddings is one of my Favorites as well. I've read just about everything of his and loved them all.  These are all his series that he has out so far.

David and Leigh Eddings books:

These are with the same Characters:

Series
Belgariad
1. Pawn of Prophecy (1982)
2. Queen of Sorcery (1981)
3. Magician's Gambit (1981)
4. Castle of Wizardry (1984)
5. Enchanters' End Game (1984)

6. Belgarath the Sorcerer (1995) (with Leigh Eddings)
7. Polgara the Sorceress (1997) (with Leigh Eddings)
8. The Rivan Codex (1998) (with Leigh Eddings)

Malloreon
1. Guardians of the West (1985)
2. King of the Murgos (1988)
3. Demon Lord of Karanda (1988)
4. Sorceress of Darshiva (1989)
5. The Seeress of Kell (1991)

These are with different Characters than the above:

Elenium
1. The Diamond Throne (1989)
2. The Ruby Knight (1990)
3. The Sapphire Rose (1991)

Tamuli
1. Domes of Fire (1992)
2. The Shining Ones (1993)
3. The Hidden City (1994)

This is their latest series.

Dreamers (with Leigh Eddings)
1. The Elder Gods (2003)
2. The Treasured One (2004)
3. The Crystal Gorge (2005)
4. The Younger Gods (2006)

I have yet to read the last two yet. But really liked the first two.

the anarchist books I've been reading is stuff put out by CrimeThinc

Expect Resistance (kinda boring in my opinion)
Days of War, Nights of Love

I learned a month or so ago that they ARE available at major bookstores, but due to the small demand, the bookstore will only order it from them if someone requests it

If you like fantasy - especially Lord of the Rings-esque stuff I'd suggest the Shannara series by Terry Brooks - one of my favorites next to LOTR
Yo ho Yo ho!

maelstrom0370

I'm fond of anything by....

David Gemmell - especially if you like very larger-than-life-good-vs-evil stuff
Raymond E. Feist - Start with Magician: Apprentice
Jim Butcher or Kim Harrison - Both are "alternate Reality" stuff with a witch/warlock as the main character

Quiet One

One of my favorite fantasy series is the Valdemar series (over 15 books) by Mercedes Lackey.  Start with Arrows of the Queen
Whisper'n M'Crack
Castleteer

Kruzar

Hasn't been mentioned as of yet, but one of my favorite authors is Bernard Cornwell.  He has done some really great historical fiction that is pretty well developed.  The series that I started with is the Grail Series, and I just finished the last paperback in the Saxon Series (1 more book to go that is still in hardback).  I have also read Stonehenge and the Arthur series that he put together.

Oh yeah, the Shannara series was great too. It's been so long I forgot about those. Another good recommendation.
