You feel more comfortable in a corset or bodice than modern undergarments.
Before you buy [almost] anything, you first ask yourself "will this come in handy at faire...?"
Oh... Shiny!

bellevivre

oh now I MISS a good supportive bodice!!! 16 days to go- YIPPEEE!!!

....a friend of yours moves clear across the country and when she asks you to come visit, she does so by saying "I'm sure there's a renaissance faire out there you can go to while you're there..."

CelticOne

You look at your friends list in facebook and realize 9/10's of it are Rennies....and that the friends requests that you have out are also either all playtrons or performers.

You plan on going out to fest for 1 day of final weekend and already have your gear set out so that when you go to work in the morning to pickup paycheck you'll already be in garb.

Your work is so used to you being in ren-mood that when you do walk into work not one person will bat an eye about your get-up.

You can't decide which scarf to wear on your head tomorrow for your pirate gear..the really long stripey one or the multi-color calico one...so you decide to bring both.
The mind is like a parachute, its best when open.

GUILTY!!!  Faire or Celtic music is about all that's in my iPod, and I hardly ever listen to the radio anymore.

...You see a sign for a place called "Swirll", but you see it as "Swill".
(Lawrence actually gets credit for this observation!  Slowly, but surely, I'm corrupting him.  In case this is more of a local to Scarby thing, the Gatorade mix at Friends of Faire is known as "swill".)

when the next day at work is  "Movie Day," and at different times, 4 of your coworkers come up to you to remind you about this, and then they say,  "and don't forget to wear your pirate garb and hat, for Pirates of the Caribbean.

You hear pipers rehearsing "Dirty Deeds (Done with Sheep)", and find yourself singing along even before it fully dawns on you what they're singing.
