It WAS gorgeous yesterday!  I just wanted to sit outside and enjoy it.  Too bad today is so ick-tastic!  Can't wait for the temps this weekend!

And that is why Athena and I hit the beach yesterday!
It pays to drive an old Bug--Caddy's was crowded but they managed to 'squeeze me in'!

I meant to post this last night--

Lady Nicolette and Willin Sole have both arrived safely.
Lady Renee Buchanan and her husband Steve called me from the Orlando airport.
They were headed to Tampa last night.

:D

Yeah, I can put up with this weather as long as the weatherman delivers what he promised.
Show me your tan lines..and I'll show you mine!

I just want to be Layla.....

I'm right there with you, Lady D. I realized around 11am that I didn't have any sunscreen with me. I spent most of the day trying to stay in the shade. Still got pink but was able to save it; it'll be a good base for my bodice tan.

Ohh I got the sunburn on Sunday, luckily it was not that bad and only stung Sunday night and on Monday. I think it will just add to my happy glow for this weekend  ;D

Is it Friday yet??

I may go swimming today. It may be the only for me to get home in this weather.

less than 27 hours from Friday Night Meet N Greet... and a TORNADO couldn't keep me away from BARF this weekend.  I'll brave the sunburn
oh, yeah, I don't burn
never mind

Squire Mickey

Actually heard the Tornado alarm going off this afternoon.

Excellent... and I'll be there early so that the visitors have someone large and easy to spot (LOL) to look for.  I'll try not to blind you all with the glare off my head!

Mickey... I'd like to personally thank you for setting up these arrangements and your first drink, therefore, is on me tomorrow night.

Sounds like they got word of this Texas wench coming east...at least you were warned! LOL!

Jokes aside, I hope everything blows over. Scary weather mighy be nothing new but its never fun.
Still Meggers, just a little more grown up now. :)

I'm pretty sure I got just as wet walking to my car after work today as I would have going swimming. And getting back to my apt, there was a lifeguard walking in without an umbrella looking like he just dove in the pool. It was ridiculous today! Which also meant I didn't do my laundry. Good thing I don't need any of it for BARF!
