I realize this is an old thread but the topic title sentiment is exactly how I feel.

Thank you to CORF for hosting a delightful, surprising, thoroughly enjoyable weekend!  You even ordered up picture perfect weather.

It was wonderful to see old friends and get to meet many new ones.

Of course special thanks to Blushing and Capt Spleen for your continued efforts all weekend to keep things moving and people organized-even if some of us attempted to thwart your efforts.   ::)

Many hugs and I look forward to seeing folks at the next gathering.
Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

MG has said it quite elegantly and eloquently, so I'm just going to say, "Yeah, what she said!" Thanks for a GREAT time!

What else could I add? Nimue and I had a wonderful weekend with all of you. We cannot thank Spleen, Blushing, and Garath enough.  It had its moments for us lowlanders...getting used to the altitude. We made many new friends that we hope to see often!  The new friends, and our old friends, were all instrumental in making the weekend one to remember. Our warmest regards to all of you.

Old friendships renewed and new ones started

Spleen and Blushings expert cat herding (something to put on your resume guys)
Drill Sergeant MG at the group photo (you're giving me flashbacks woman)
My on stage make-out session at a Crass Roots show (William of Ware has blackmail pics)  ;D

Seems those to ladies get around. They did the same thing to my Toki with me watching. But the red head did say to the little blonde she best watch out as his woman could kick her arse... :P

The Crass Roots ladies seemed to have been busy this last weekend.

I started my faire day off saying hi to all the acts after getting in the gate and chitchatting. When i got to Crass Roots the blond found out the only thing worn under my kilt was her, yes she went on her back and slid between my legs to check with Jen watching.

Then on sunday i was catching one of there shows and i had the pleasure of my face being sandwiched between thier breasts. I think i lucked out and no one got pictures......i hope.

I'll post this here so when anyone looks back on these, they'll know we're referencing:
#6 - RenDezvous 2011 - Colorado Renaissance Faire - the 35th season.
I want to thank:

Blushing, for all she coordinated thru many trials and tribulations throughout the year leading up to this event. She made assisting her a joyful event to plot and plan. (I even had to keep her in the dark for some of the things I had planned, so that she could enjoy the few surprises everyone else did).
She also got the nametags together.

Sir Garath, he was asked to be the official photographer, because he is so willing to share his pics with everyone. I'm guessing he did so at the sacrifice of getting to play in the many pictures he took.
He also made our RenDezvous Information/souvenir cards, AND crafted the Pub Crawl booklet checklist.

Photogs all, that have shared thier many pics already as well!

Saber (Mr. Bones), he was my ace in the liquor hole ( I was doing a mad last minute alcohol run for the Ren Elephant gift changling, and grabbed the box of mixed alcohol, but zoomed out the door w/o the case of Champagne for tailgate each morning).
When I realized I'd forgot it, I was already on my way with the Mystery Guest from Airport.
Blushing called him as he lives very close to said store, and by coincidence, he was just at that very location just 10 minutes prior. He returned, picked up the goods, and delivered them to Tailgate Saturday morning.
He also played the bones, as the start/stop music to Musical Men.

Gauwyn of Bracknell, for he was a good sport at Meet N Greet, as it "Started on a Musical Note".
I still owe you a drink on that one Sir!

Amras Elfwine, for his daily adventure blog! Gives me more reasons to explore this state i've resided in for almost 10 years now.

Lord High Sheriff, from cast (Not an RF member), for I renamed his game from Romance Wars, to Romanceteers Ball. And I'd say he showed us how to really play the game.  He was our Guest Mystery Cast member. (some had said they wanted something "Colorado" for RenDezvous that had never been done before. So i thought this game would suffice).

Syrilla, she accepted to be the out of town Mystery Guest.
She put up with all my rambling forgetfulness, (my mind was in a galleon of places the week prior) making her wait in the car for over 10 minutes before being revealed, and was a wonderful house guest too!

Tanda, for offering and employing her crafty skills at a "hit" person for Romanceteers Ball.

Scotsman, and Lady Guinness, from them I learned to do a great tailgate via they're undying giving at past RenDevous' and Ettes N Teers gatherings and invasions. (not that I even came close, to what they'd done in the past)

Madge Estes, from BARF, whom invented/started the Musical Men game. A RenDezvous staple if you ask me!
Whether you play, watch, take pictures, or look at the pics later, You can't not have fun with this.

Melissa my sweetgirl, she invited me to my first White Elephant party in the past year.
Mama Spleen, who has always been an inspirational hostess as long as I can remember.
Because of them, Together, I came up with the Ren Elephant gift changling idea for Meet N Greet.
Another RenDezvous first!

Also:

Demetrius, Holier Than Thou, and Zoe, for assisting in the beginning discussions for thier ideas and contributions.

Hey Aren't You, for being our Liaison to Faire management, and discussions and ideas.

Lastly but not leastly, all the wonderful people that attended this event from afar and locally.
You ren friends were the best, AND without any drama!

If I missed anyone or anything that anyone else noted, feel free to add to the list....

RenDezvous 2011 - One of the best RenDevous', that I've attended, if not the THE best!

Butch

Thank-you all for gathering at this event!  The CO RF was fantastic!  The acts were great, the cast was quite friendly, and the RF'ers in attendence were most cordial!

Thank-you, CO locals, for hosting this event!  Everything went quite smoothly, and everything felt comfortable; nothing was forced.  I really enjoyed talking with everyone!  It was also very nice stalking...er I mean running into Kett all weekend!  Cap'n Spleen and Blushing did a FANTASTIC job!  So good to finally meet Aramis Elfwine and Genevive.  Always great to see Gauwyn and his entourage!  The Baron, while mostly busy this weekend, was very good to catch-up with!  Ms Trish and MG were quite the standouts from the Great White North!  So very nice to see them!  Lady DeLaney and Toki were very welcoming!

I know I'm leaving a whole bunch out!  So nice to see everyone!  What a great experience!

Syrilla

I would like to add my gratefulness to everyone for their welcome.  It was wonderful getting to know everyone, a few of you for the first time not as the Queen.  It was a great adventure visiting the festival and playing games.  I can not list everyone who made it special, but a few:

Spleen/Dan, Who made it all possible for me... A place to stay ( a wonderful host), transportation, and a rose to boot!  The perfect gentle-man!
Toki... my dance partner!  What a thoughtful gift.  A bodice chiller with a yellow rose!  It was well used those days! Thank you so much!
Sir Ironhead... Thank you for the escort on Sunday.  Sorry you had to put up with me.  :D
To the gentlemen that offered a knee in the name of the game.... Thank you! It has been a long time since I've gotten to play faire games, and all of you made it so much FUN!  Even ending up rolling on the ground!

A big thanks to the photographers.  As I did not take a single picture... mostly because I kept forgetting my camera (which had died anyway).

I am sorry that I did not get to interact with the cast, but I do know how busy they are!  It was fun meeting the sheriff.  Who reminds me of someone.... but I don't know who.
