There is an interesting article in the current issue of SEA CLASSICS magazine (June 2010 / Vol. 43 / No. 06) entitled: "Ship Ahoy", Pirate Ships As Depicted in Movies And Models. While it mentions many of the classic pirate movies, the emphasis is on the various ship models that have been issued (and re-issued) over the years. It has eight pages of print and 29 photos . As the prolog says: "There is often quite a difference between how pirate ships appeared in history and the versions we see in today's popular media". Read the article and let the discussions begin................. aaarrrrgh!
