Hey everyone! I'm a regular at FLARF, which usually for the most part overlaps time-wise with BARF. I've never been able to make it out to BARF but I'm currently trying to make some plans to possibly make 2011 my first time! Basically I'd be able to go any weekend after the end of FLARF (which ends March 13th) So that leaves the end of March through the end of the faire open.

1. Are there themed weekends like FLARF? Do you guys and gals recommend any of specific weekend to attend? Or are they all pretty bad weed puller? Keep in mind I garb mainly as a faun and fae (so fantasy woop woop)

2. What are some good places to stay close to the faire? I'm not familiar with the area, obviously.

3. What are the must-see's of the faire? I think if we get to go it'll only be a day or two probably, so I want to make sure we get all the good stuff in! XD

Thanks! If there's any other important or useful info for a first time BARF attendee, feel free to share!

I have only been for 2 years, and I still have not seen everything (shows/events). So I can not answer most of your questions, but I will look for the thread where everyone talked about where they were staying this last season. (Crossing my fingers I do this right) Here is the link to the weekend themes for this last season.

Also on the BARF hompage it gives the dates for next year as being from Feb 26 to April 10. That gives you 4 weekends to choose from after
March 13th.
