A video on the mass grave archaeological work/findings at Towton, dubed the largest battle in 1461, conflict - War of the Roses. 

       

  Interesting as to what the remains of the warriors tell.

Background:  In 1996 a mass burial pit was discovered at the site of the Battle of Towton, a major battle ( 1461 )  during England's War of the Roses.

The mass grave contained the bodies of 41 people.  Anthea Boyston and other researchers were able to use forensic anthropological techniques to identify and record the injuries of these individuals' remains in the mass grave. 

As one of the very few mass graves discovered on a medieval battlefield, the research collected from this project is reported to have proven to be valuable to historians.
