Fabric stash additions! Squee!

A friend of mine works for Jackman's Fabrics in St. Louis, and brought me some of the most delicious fine pima cotton batiste!  Perfect for my idea of a black-worked shirt!  And, AND, about 2 yards of a white silk batiste.  Will that make a beautiful gathered partlet, or what?  And sample cards of various imported linens, organdies, etc.  (She did mention that other types of fabrics could be had merely for the asking...  They order.)
