Ok...it's been officially decided...WE WILL BE CAMPING WITH CLAN MCLOTOFUS ON HALLOWEEN WEEKEND!!!!!!     

Tim and I are both going to get off work early on Friday the 29th so we are hoping that as soon as Dillon gets out of school we will be able to head for the TRF campgrounds!!!!

It's been almost two years since we camped....I'm so excited!!!!!

to all that are new to camping at trf:

enter the camping entrance which is Deerwood from FM1774.  traveling north (from Magnolia) it will be after the main entrance and you will turn left.  traveling south (from Conroe) it will be before the main gate and you will turn right.

you will need to show your faire ticket to the guard and pay $20.00 per vehicle to camp.  follow the asphault drive.  you will see parking rows that are usually roped off until it's time for faire.  when you see you this follow the road to the right.  stay on the asphault.  the rows have markers counting down.  you will see row 9 first and that will be us.  we usually take up rows 7-9.

I am looking for information about the burn ban and wondering if it has affected the campgrounds.  Our group is going next weekend and is curious if fires are still allowed? Any info would be greatly appreciate.

this account is for Cody Dwayne Greg and Jeff. we all just wanted to say thanks for the awesum weekend an for lettin us camp with y'all. thinkin bout trying to come down for Celtic Christmas but no promises. an were wantin to be members of the clan. don't really know the process for that.

Once the winds winded down, we were allowed to have fires as long as they were in a off the ground fire pit WITH a cover over the fire at all times. They enforced it in many camps.
