Yes, my son makes those jacks as well.  He bought his brewers pitch from them as well.  Likewise, he does a 50/50 mix of brewers pitch and beeswax.

Thank you M'Lord and M'Lady Blue, very helpful. I'm making a small barrel, like those whiskey barrels but this one will hold a little over a gallon. Hope it works if it does it will be full come AHE at TRF.
