  You're welcome!   My favorite leather jerkin is at the museum of London.  You can see a small picture of it here but there are some lovely photos and drawings of it in Patterns of Fashion.   Given all the little hearts and stars pinked out of it, I can totally see a lady wearing it!

Oh, how gorgeous!  I have nowhere near that level of skill, or ever likely to... but I am very impressed by all the lovely work that's always displayed here, and wish I had more time to devote to practicing.  Fairly simple things are all I have the nerve to try, but maybe someday I'll be able to afford to commission something this magnificent!
