I started it as a hobby and sine I've been unemployed for a while, I'm hoping to help stay afloat with my leatherworking until I can get a "real" job.  Never know, if people like my stuff enough, this might become my "real" job in the end.

Come visit my Leather Forge.  I'm adding things as I can.  Lot of stuff I have made never got imaged, so until I make it again, i have no way to post it.  My inventory should grow regularly and get more eccentric as my ability and resources grow.

Wow... can't believe I missed this!  I've seen pics of the pouch, and it's beautiful!  So is all the rest, and I can't wait to see more!  Great work...  :)

Beautiful work Grov!! I think I may need to order a barrette for my daughter once I can save up enough :)

You're old enough to have a daughter?  Wow, you are holding onto that youthful appearance very well.  Just let me know what you want it to look like.  I enjoy bringing ideas to life.

Nice, man! I'm in a similar situation, doing a similar thing. I hadn't really thought about doing it until this last weekend at the Colorado Renaissance Festival. I had several people- including vendors of leather goods- wanting to know where I got my bracers, and if they could buy a pair off me. I have a friend wanting a sporran and custom made belt for her husband with MS. He has a hard time walking and wants something that will look somewhat traditional, and yet work for his disability. It's interesting getting more attention for my hobby than my profession. Although given the fact that I'm also a graphic designer, I guess the two go hand in hand.
