By all accounts that I've heard, this faire went off really well! I know they are planning on moving it to June next year so it doesn't conflict with the PaRF, MdRF, and PRF. I'm hoping to get involved with it or at least visit next year. Here's a compilation video that they put together after their first season ended: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnJqExPGBdA .

I posted the following on my RenSpace blog about this Faire............

The PaRenFaire is halfway through its season and I have been there every Saturday save one. The weather has been very nice with only a couple of rainy days but not any of the violent thunder storms that shut down the Faire like last year. Yesterday I went to a new Faire. For a first effort the NJ Renaissance Faire was outstanding. The physical layout was pleasant enough, with plenty of shade from trees and large tents over the picnic table eating areas. Even stand alone picnic tables had large umbrellas. Of course, this certainly does not shout Renaissance Shire. However, the cast more than made up for that deficiency by interacting with visitors to the Shire in such a manner that the visitors were made to feel they were coming home to friend and kin. The spirit was warm, intimate, and cozy. The cast was very well tuned in all they did both in the lanes and on the stage. I've been to quite a few small Faires but none that said Hello Howdy Glad to Meet You such as this. Huzzah to John Williams, TJ Miller, and cast!!!!
