Oops, sorry... but since we needed more than just the one I went ahead and ordered the tickets we'll need from them on the phone, and instead of paying a dollar extra handling fee for each ticket, they only charge a $2 fee for the whole order, no matter how many you actually order, and they will mail them or leave them at will-call, your choice...  I appreciate your willingness to help, though!!!

Now I'm really excited!  :D

That right there is a good tip.  I've always hated that stupid "handling" fee for an electronic ticket that I have to print out on my own freakin paper.

They also told me that if I need to order more, I can mention I've already bought tickets before and this fee will be waived.

I should have at least 4 extra tickets this year that I can sell at a discounted price if anyone misses the advanced ticket deadline.  PM me if interested.

Almost there....stay on target!

So I have looked and I think I know the answer, but want to double check.  For opening weekend for $12 is that only good thru 09/24? Or anytime online?

Plus, how did you find out about the weekend pass?

Not sure about opening, but the pass is right there on the Ticket page at the bottom.  It's really only 2 tickets, and they're supposed to only be able to be used one on a Sat. and one on a Sun., but neither one has a specific day on it, and it's not necessary to use them on the same weekend, either.  It's the same price as the advance tickets, but you can also buy them at the gate, although I hear the lines can be really long for that.

I had this stray thought, and quickly went to the TRF site to peruse the ticket options to confirm my stray thought. Which is now a question. Ok yes, I know, get to the frakkin point...

Does TRF not have season passes?

They don't sell season passes - but they have contests every weekend and the prize is typically season passes.  They also do discounts in the early months leading up to faire that make buying a season worth of tickets a little less painful.  Unfortunately, I never have any money when those offers come out.  They usually come out right around Christmas.

Be sure you're on their mailing list.

I have only ever seen them offer season tickets in their emails.  But if you don't buy the passes by July 4, it usually is not offered again past that day or somewhere around there.
May the stars always shine upon you and yours.

They offer a package of 17 tickets for $204, but only during certain times.  I think there were 4 chances this year to get that deal.  The last one just passed in early Sept.  Get on their mailing list for next year.

Lady Kett

I'm on the email and mailing list, I just still don't recall seeing a season pass offer. Do remember the 17-ticket combo (which is a very odd amount to me!).

Just pondering odd things in the middle of trying to do other things!

eldatari

17 is a full seasons worth.  Same as a season pass.

Yep,  17 tickets 204+5 service charge, had to buy them before the 10 Sept.,

would have been 289  for 17 tickets if bought after 10 sept,

after 24 sept they went to 340  for 17 tickets
( inclucding  $1 dollar surcharge per ticket online :o)
