Was there any photographers out  Bachanal weekend?

We were accosted several times by a photography class  that was taking pictures for a class. I just wondered if any of ours were out.
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

Yeah, haven't seen much from that weekend!  We got stopped plenty of times!  I'm hoping to find a pic of my wee king.
Got faerie dust?

Yay!  I'm in the opening weekend set!  I love it.  Is it ok that I post it on Jingles' page, Melkar?

ABSOLUTELY!

I'm curious to know where the photography class was from

I decided to experiment and shoot RAW images with my Nikon D90 on Saturday, so now I'm having to convert from .nef to .jpg before uploading to the Internet.  At the current time, the program is about 1/3 of the way through the ~950 photos.

Welcome to the world of RAW - the black hole that devours disk drives and CPU cycles.  BUT I like the results better and it has saved my patootie more than once.  ::)

Ack, it's been so long since I uploaded a picture
Try the link below, it should be open to the public.

I don't know how long it took for the program to convert all of the NEF's to JPG's, but it was finished when I got home from work at 11:50PM.  The JPG files take up about 7 GB on the disk, and the NEF's take up about 10 GB.  Since I make backups onto at least 2 different drives, that's 34 GB used locally, plus the 7 GB I upload to my Flickr Pro account as an offsite backup.

I'm currently uploading photos to my Facebook account, but won't get finished before I go to bed at ~2:00 AM.  The rest will be uploaded to Facebook & Flickr when I wake up in the morning.

I've now uploaded the 900+ photo's to Facebook Albums and a Set on my Flickr account, including over 200 of the evening Fireworks.  This is the first time I've ever tried taking pictures of Fireworks, so they aren't as crisp and clear as future ones will be (after I find some hints & tricks on shooting Fireworks  ;) ).
