   William and Kate are finally getting married! 
It's abut time they announced it, I figured he had popped the question months ago.
   The best part for me?  He used Diana's (in)famous sapphire engagement ring, and I know it will bring more happiness to Williams' bride than it did to his poor mom.
   I'm sad that Diana will miss this.

   Man, I feel old, I watched his parents' wedding. *sigh*  I was living in Germany at the time, and I remember that all of Europe went crazy with royal wedding mania.

I watched the wedding too, it was like a fairy tale.  Diana was only a year older than me.  I cried when she died.  She had such a short life.

I pray William & Kate, will be very happy.
Did you catch the special on t.v. last week? "William & Kate: A Royal Love Story?" It was a nice program.

Poop! I missed the special probably since I read a lot and only watch TV about 30 minutes a day.
  This wedding should be special.  With all the gadgets everybody has now, there will be scads of video uploads and twitters.  I can't wait to see the dress,  I hope Kate really wows us! (I secretly hated that ill fitting, ruffled mess that Diana wore, but LOVED Fergies' gown)
  The only other thing I really want to see in my lifetime is A Coronation.  Elizabeth's was  before I was born, and even though I don't want her to die, I think she will eventually step down as Queen in my lifetime due to age.      Hopefully leaving the throne to Wills and Kate.    

Irish...We are only as old as we allow our selves to be....
