Description of Your Faire: The Virginia Renaissance Faire is an all-volunteer nonprofit project dedicated to the highest quality educational entertainment. The cast of well-trained historical re-enactors provide an exciting interactive experience with hands-on activities for the whole family.

PERFORMERS - Out of the Woodwork has a limited number of openings on our stages for talented but unknown performers. Individuals, community groups and schools are invited to submit an letter of interest, including a description of your act. This is a great opportunity to obtain professional stage experience.

CREW OPENINGS - Costumed and Uniformed crew positions are still available. Join the White Knights (Safety and Security) the Green Men (Building and Grounds) or the street merchants and be part of the magic. Other volunteer positions are also available including HM Wizards (Marketing, PR, Information, & Funding) and our Education Team as well as on site positions. Participation in the Virginia Renaissance Faire earns community service hours for graduation, public service or scouts.

MERCHANTS - Currently, we are accepting applications for artisans and vendors. Fees are discounted for advance reservations and for educational demonstrations. At VaRF, the vendors are part of the faire family. Without you, there is no faire. Submit the interest form on the website, call 703-508-5036 or send an email.
