Now that I have seen them all together I am thinking if my undersleeves get here in time that the tudor sleeves would be the easiest.  I could just take the lace off with a seem ripper and add the big sleeves.  Here is a link to the undersleeves I am getting.

I think they look okay.  They are made out of silk which was a fabric that was around back then.  I thought I could put a ribbon where the elastic is at the wrist.

Well, the other ladies might be of better help here, but I was thinking it would be easy enough to do something like this:

I don't really think you'd need a pattern.

It would be nice if you could find fabric matching the upper sleeve to make the small upper bell portion and then go to town with whatever Tudor period patterned fabric you'd like for the remainder of the large bell. Stay away from anything too obviously floral.

I think the sleeves you purchase will be very pretty, and yes to silk, :) Although if you were lucky, you might find fabric matching the forepart of your gown to make an oversleeve. I don't think it's necessary though.

*edited* The above is taken from a dress diary from Lia Thornegge. I hope this isn't bad form to post this ladies dress diary, but I think it's so helpful here if Julie does decide to go with the Tudor sleeve. It's something I'd saved as I found it so simple to visualise.

Thank you for the link.  This will help me figure things out.  I am definitly going with the tudor sleeves.  I just need to go buy some fabric and I will make them.  I have already started removing the trim on the dress and it came off cleanly.  If the undersleevs do not arrive I will just go without and either purchase or make some later.  I am pretty sure I will be going back.  I will make the undersleeves more elaborate later also.  Thanks so much for everyones help I will post the finished dress on the gallery of finished products when I am done.
