Pawn Stars

That's an interesting show. Those guys are good at what they do, basically ripping off unsuspecting sellers. They are in Vegas, where a tanked economy and steady stream of gambling and other addicts bring in plenty of stuff. I don't blame the pawn shop guys, the marks give it up too easy!
The last show I saw, a guy had a 400 year old book, supposedly from Issac Newton's library. The pawn guy's 'expert' said it could go for 20,000 bucks! I would have chased the expert out the door and found out how to get in on an auction, which is what the pawn guys are gonna do anyway. But  They offer the guy 5,000, this clown 'dickers' and ends up taking like 7 grand and is all happy! Way to give up 10,000 bucks dummy! ::) This scenario happens all the time on that show.

I still love it. I'm hoping to visit the shop when I make my trek across the country in April.

I gotta say I love Betty White in "Hot in Cleveland", that one is truly funny for folks my age. I'd like to say that "The Tudors" is a favorite and they do have great garb, but some of the cast doesn't feel exactly right, especially Henry himself. I watch it anyway, even though it's too Soap Operaish. Burned out on CSI.

So:
The Andy Griffith Show
Everybody Loves Raymond
Stargate Universe
Smallville
I Love Lucy
Man Vs. Food!
Star Trek TNG (still catch it pretty often)

I did like Robin Hood on BBC, till they killed both Marian and Robin - legends live forever. Not looking for a new season on that one.

I hate reality shows, I hope they stop airing those. You know they gotta all be rigged.

I just finished watching that on netlflix yesterday, and I was pretty much in love. Though it did take me several episodes to come to terms with the fact that Marian died, and it made me very sad when Robin died, too. He just seems so unstoppable.

But still the action was wonderful!

Are you talking about Robin Hood (2006), with Jonas Armstrong?  I had cable TV, with the BBC America Channel, when this show came on, and was able to watch it.  One thing to watch for during one of the episodes when several of Robin's men are in the town, while hiding from the Sheriff's men, when they're jumping from roof to roof, you can see their rubber waffle-soled boots...   ;D  LOL!

Thats what made it so funny. If you looked close the Sheriff Of Nottingham wore birkenstocks and Robin wore combat boots.

Still it was a good show even if they did go off the deep end at the end of the series
