Memphis-based Vaudeville-style variety show looking for entertainers and performers.

LaVinnia London's Nocturnal Cabaret is taking its show to the next level, putting together a full-length production to be performed regularly in Memphis and surrounding areas.  To date, the Nocturnal Cabaret has been hosted inside Club Nocturnal, which is potentially closing its doors in January.  The Cabaret is shifting its focus to a larger-scale show and is looking for committed performers of the following natures:  jugglers, magicians, human blockhead, stilt walkers, fire eaters, sword swallowers, etc.  We are looking to hire one or two individuals to join our cast as variety entertainers.  Our cast already includes an MC, live musicians, and dancers: burlesque, bellydance, sword and snake dancers, fire dancers, and an aerial dancer.

Cast Member Expectations: Cast members are expected to attend weekly rehearsals for up to 3 months from January – March in the midtown Memphis area.  Once the show is rehearsed and ready, shows will be monthly or bi-monthly on Friday and Saturday nights in February-early May, roughly 9pm to midnight. Cast members will be paid per show.

If you have a talent and would like to audition for a role in this show, please contact Liz DiMaggio, www.memphisraqs.com.  Auditions should be 3-5 minutes in length and should showcase the individuals' full range of talents as well as showmanship, musicality, and stage personality.
