Ebay Win: Moresca Pirate

I won a black Moresca Pirate Bodice on Ebay. The seller said it is in great condition & she only wore it a few times to faire but doesn't go anymore.

The best part: Total, including shipping $87

When I told my husband I wanted it, he asked, "Do you need it?" Duh! Of course I need it !!!!!!!

Isn't that just like a guy! Because he has 3 pairs of shoes, he is still, after almost 32 years of marriage, trying to figure out why I need way more than that!!!!! lol

So you were the one who bought it?

I was checking it out a couple days ago and finally last night had decided to post it over here, but some one had already bought it. It looks to be in great shape and is an excellent deal! She said she wasn't into faire anymore (I can't wrap my brain around that concept) but her loss is your gain, sweet deal! Congrats!
These run 150.00 new on Moresca. I have my eye on a brocade version when I get the $$.

Thanks for all your nice comments. The funny thing is that last month there was another Moresca black pirate bodice on Ebay. The bidding went up too high for me. It finally sold for $105 plus shipping, so when I saw this one, I jumped at the buy it now!

When I get it (I just won it last night, so I'm sure it will take a while), I'll post a picture. Thanks again!

You were right on that one!- I have bid on 2 different bodices (Moresca Max) that were also posted on the IWG forum to get bidding started. There was no 'buy it now' listed either time. The winning bid was was only 30$ or so less than a new bodice both times and I dropped out well before that.

Congrats on the purchase. As for needing of course you need it! And should get one in every color if possible, even better a color for everyday that you will be attending the faire

Some men just (I am not saying all men just some) don't get it, grab is very important and if you get it at a good price go for it! Just don't run out closet space.

This is not the chemise or the skirt I will wear at faire with this bodice, but I took other pictures and didn't feel like changing skirts. I will also relace so that the front is closed when I actually wear it.

Hey there's another on ebay right now: Red and Black this time starting bid was $25.00.. However there is no 'buy it now' so you know this will go waaaay up; current bid is 35.57.
My money says it will probably sell for 70+

Update: this one sold for $71.00. I think it would have been more if it was all one color or black.
