PapaGnome is laid up this week and wont be on to name them for a bit, but my understanding is the judges wont be named until close to the contest.
I am betting there wont be a shortage of volunteers though lol

I have a bottle that is almost 3.5 years old (Brewed March 2005), I have had some that was 6 - 7 years old and my, my my... what a SMOOOOOOTH drink it was..

It ages well, and tends to smooth out as it ages like any good booze.

How the heck do y'all keep Loki that long? The longest I've been able to keep some around is 8 months (after aging).

The plan is to keep that bottle (or at least SOME of the contents) until our daughter turns 21 (she's 12 now).  However, I'm thinking I want to take that bottle and make another batch and save a bottle from that batch... LOL

I have one bottle that has about a shot and a 1/2 left in it that's about 6 years old...and I have about two bottles that are about 3 years old.  Yrose...mostly, for me, it's forgetting where I packed them after the move.

Guess I just need to try and make so much me and my friends can't drink it all. Dang, that would be a butt load though! Need to invest in more aging bottles and find some more storage room.

Just a reminder that Opening Weekend of TRF on Saturday night after the SPCF Dinner the Drunken Gnomes will do our part to preserve world peace, love and happiness by once again bringing back The DG Loki Challenge...(and the crowd roars...)...

We are also looking for Drummers & Belly Dancers who might like to join us in providing some much needed entertainment (belly dancers who would like to I can pay you by making an anklet with bells for you)!!!

So be sure to head out to the campground Opening Weekend and help out the SPCF and fill yourself up on a Great Dinner then come join the Loki fun in the DG Camp...HUZZAH...!!!

We will probably hear more from Darkke before the judging of The Loki Challenge and the determination of his future employer. Her Highness is very happy with his performance thus far and may be reluctant to release him from her service.

It's about 60 days from opening weekend and only one judge and 3 entrants have posted their intentions in the Yahoo database.

Come on folks, step and declare your intentions. Teach needs a run for his money.

About time for me to start cleaning up the travel trailer and loading the refrigerator. I'll be inline Thursday afternoon with my stock of traditional, traditional with orange blossom honey, rootbeer float, and pina colada. I'll be making up some more batches of other flavors this coming weekend.
