It's so cold ... that the sun bathers are asking for fur bikini's.

(I actually got a question about a commion to make some one a sew of fur undies to wear in cold weather. Part of me wanted to ask her, "Do you want them suitable to wear during hot weather at a Ren Faire as well?")  ;D
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

Believe me, if that wouldn't put us that much further away from our son in NYC, we would be giving it a lot more consideration...

We don't fly anymore.  Fed up with the government interference (and thefts from our luggage last time we flew).

Rail isnt too bad. I used to take one from RedWing,MN to Chicago,IL often...usually read most of the way.:)
Its so cold that the trains are frozen to the tracks...

Dear God I hated Missouri summers growing up there. Ick. Felt like it was 200F outside daily.
