RI letter of marque issued

Twenty lucky Rhode Islanders will get to add "Pirate" to their resume.

The Governor of Rhode Island, Lincoln D. Chafee, just gave a Letter Of Marque to a group of historical cosplayers known as the Rhode Island Pirate Players. In it, he commanded them to "arm, furnish and equip themselves" to educate the public on the truth about the state's sea-faring past, stories that are sure to shiver their timbers.

The commission also instructs no other sea captains to mess with them, but that part seems redundant, seeing as how they're pirates.
