i am missing our tribe

it is may 3rd.  i sit thinking all the time about the eight weekends that have concluded . . . and i am missing being with you people.  i feel a disconnect with my world when i am not amidst the drums, the music, the hugs, the comradre of the sherwood tribe.

i miss the anticipation of travelling out to our magical forest come friday afternoon.

i miss the pub scene.

i miss the wonderful folk who inhabit the clan camping grounds...and how such a strange mix of folk from all walks of life and political persuasions seem to find common ground within sherwood.

i miss you!!!

I really glad you bumped this thread, Your Highness. I was telling someone this very day that Sherwood would be the perfect place to take her twin girls next year (they'll be nearly 4 yo). One of the twins loves to dress up, and Mom says that they both love fantasy creatures, and I can think of no better place than Sherwood Forest for that.

Nim and I are already planning for 2012...

I also miss Sherwood.   Due to circumstances beyond my control I only was able to attend a couple of times this season.

I'm hoping that next season I can make up for it.

You have been an integral part of Sherwood since almost the beginning.  Your presence and absence are both felt.  Your art through photography has always inspired us.  Thank you for being one of the premire chroniclers of our tribe's endeavors.
