I've heard through the grapevine that many of the cast were not asked back.
How many were cut and how many do we have left? Anyone know?

They are always officially close-mouthed about the comings & goings of cast. The show is supposed to be a "surprise" when the curtain goes up. That & the cast selection is not yet complete according to some of my sources.

That seems a bit odd, since TRF went and added a big "Performance Company" page, with character/performer names.
Seems if they were making those kinds of changes they would have held off on publishing the rosters.
1 or 2 I could see, but large changes? Makes no sense.

LadyShadow

By the looks of the page it has not been updated with this coming years performers yet.
May the stars always shine upon you and yours.

3 1/2 months out. No where near time to update that page. Still making selections anyway. Not to mention, they're a little distracted this week.

Understand that we will have a strong cast this year, still completely dedicated to entertaining the patrons that come out to see us. We love what we do, and it shows. :D

Warcat.... Do you know if Brittney of the Barbarians was renewed?  She works at a store I do IT support at but I haven't seen her there in awhile to ask her.  TRF's cast is always great.  I think with the faire changing so much management it has some of the patrons uneasy.  No one likes change even though it is inevitable.

You can say that again... I'm concerned and I haven't been to TRF in nearly 20 years.

Ms. Britt was actually renewed, but she was moved to MY court! She will be joining the Transylvanians this year as my daughter.

I think we should probably start worrying now...   ;)   :D

The exact thing went through my head....oh my word...
On a long enough time line, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

Yes... Yes she did.
Tho I can't imagine her not making for a beautiful Transylvanian as well.

Doh! Stupid faire crushes...

those are the best kind of crushes, though! You're far less likely to be crushing on an airhead :D

Yeah, I sort of have that "problem" at faire, and sci-fi cons too, my wife says I fall in love 9 times a day...

I've spoken with several cast members over the last week. While there are a number of familiar faces that won't be on cast this year, I still expect we will see a lot of most of them during the season. In addition, expect to see familiar faces in different places and roles. And most especially, expect to have your world rocked by the performance company! As great as they have been in the past, they are going to pull out all the stops and give us a show like we've never seen before.

Thanks, Zaubon.  I always look forward to great things from the TRF Performance company and have never been disappointed.  They put in a lot of hours during the hottest time of the year in preparation for the magic we see in the fall, and their dedication shows.

Didn't you know that if you put two red heads together we plot to take over the world.  If you put three or more of use together, we succeed.

It's takes a special personality to be a red head, a true one or not, and a strong man to take one of us on, because there is NEVER a dull moment with a red haired woman.

Why do I feel like I've worn something like this before?

Never a dull moment indeed, and never a moment's proper sleep either.

Exactly how many cast members will there be at TRF this year?  Just the right number.  We are going to be spectacular this year.  Many people have been moved around and many will be missing.  But I promise you, you will not be disappointed in the interactions and the quality of the characters we have in store for you!
