I hate to dampen folks spirits, but due to the Bastrop County fireban and extremely dry conditions, we must take the most cautious path.

No campfires, even the previously approved firepits with a fine metal mesh screen cover, are allowed.

Coleman type lanterns and stoves are fine, just don't put them on the ground. Have a fire extinguisher readily available in case a fire breaks out.

No fireworks are allowed, even sparklers. If it takes or makes fire or smoke, please don't set it off.

TRF was spared by only a couple of miles and it had several fire departments in the area to fight the wildfire. SWFF is far more remote.
