You all better come back and play again!

It was so much fun meeting all the people I talk to here on the boards, I wish that I could have gabbed longer!

LadyAriella

I was thrilled so many of you visiting came up to me! I'm so new to the boards I barely recognized anyone so it was helpful to be hailed. For our visiting nobility, you were too beyond awesome at the picnic, all the rest of them for the year are going to be lousy compared to your deviled eggs and cheeses and such!

So. A heartfelt thanks back at all of you who came and played and were so freakin' pleasant.

I'm quite certain I can not express my enjoyment of the weekend anymore eloquantly than has already been said.  What a joy to get to meet all these wonderful names in person.  I fear to single anyone out for fear of missing anyone but must express some specific thanks...

Merlin, the junior and the senior, you both crack me up. Your forum banter carried over to the weekend and made me laugh.
William of Ware, thank you so much for escorting Trish and I on Sunday morning.  We very much enjoyed your company. I hope the scarf you purchased will long be a reminder of the wonderful weekend.
Lord High Sheriff, as my "gifter" you were more than generous, clever, and creative despite my limited responses to the list.  Your hits, scattered throughout the day, always surprised me, made me laugh, and often blush by the pomp with which they were delivered (yes, you, Sean Daniels).
Lord and Lady Spicer, although we share the same home faire this was the first time we've actually gotten to visit.  What delightful company you are!  I hope we have more occassions to share a glass of something well chilled and hopefully to introduce my dear husband.
Baron and Baroness, after meeting you last year I was so looking forward to visiting with you again.  It is my hope that you are able to continue doing what you love but have more time for relaxed conversations with friends.  You are always a pleasure to be around.
Hotel mates, Lady Kett, Sidekick, Lady Addilay and Lord Gauwyn.  A wonderful group with whom to start your day!
Special thanks to Lady Addilay for loaning out your husband, Lord Gauwyn, to safely escort Ms. Trish and I home on Sunday from faire as well as after dinner Sunday night.  He was a complete gentleman.
Also special thanks to all the photographers for sharing their pictures from the weekend and being indulgent of my private messages asking for certain unflattering photos to be removed.  :-[ A woman never wants to be portrayed in an unflattering way. (batting eyelashes)

So many moments in time that I can not possibly point them all out but know it was a weekend filled with joy and laughter, flashing bloomers, biting rose stems, photo ops...

Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome and part of the fun.

MG
Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

Lord Spicer and I felt so welcomed by all of you as well as by the court of Colorado.  Looks like we are invited to spend 2 weekends if we can next year... meaning a whole week in between for activities and to get to know more folks from the area!

Our specific thanks to Capn Spleen for the mixer drawing and to Blushing for providing herself as entertainment the mornings of festival!

Love you all!
Kimberly and Greg Grandprey

And to you Lord and Lady Spicer, a warm thanks.

Both the Countess and I felt like we were in the presence of Obi Wan Kenobi in terms of our introduction to being in the Court.  As I said, "you have tremendous technique" and we learned a great deal from you in only one weekend.  Perhaps we will make it to MN in the future.

MG, the fact that you say this after several days of me growling at you and Trish (and Gauwyn and Addilay!) in the morning as I went to get coffee only reinforces the fact that you are an angel! :)

** I am NOT a morning person and require large amounts of coffee to speak in whole sentences and be polite in the morning **

Coffee. Now. Grrrr. Snarl. Hiss. Coffee.
That's about how my mornings go!

Merlin the Elder

I used to be like that in the morning, Kett...now I'm that way all the time!  Grrrufff!  :-*

I've upped my standards. Now, up yours.

Imagine ... you've made Blushing blush!

Thank you, all of you.  You're ALL what made this Rendezvous a smashing success.  I miss you all terribly, and hope to see all of you again - SOON!  It was truly the best weekend of faire this season for me.

Cheers!
