Metallica S & M
I'm not a true Metallica fan, but that disc is awesome.  Michael Kamen conducted the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and the production value was spectacular, and that was the only reason I gave Metallica a listen in the first place. Interestingly enough, after that concert Metallica's production quality soared on all their subsequent discs.

It really is fantastic.  I love that video of the performance, and I've always loved the song, itself!

I agree...a total fave of mine....in fact if I ever marry/handfast again, Nothing Else Matters will be the song.  Gives me goosebumps every time

All of my wedding ceremony music was from Wagners Der Ring des Nibelungen, except the brides entrance song, which was Chopins Funeral March. It all fit, since we are all gothy and spooky and got married on Halloween night. Neo Victorian/steam theme and all the guests had to wear good costumes as an entrance requirement.
