Ok, let's see....

Blue- Considering the fact that I couldn't pick him out of a line-up or name one of his songs at gunpoint, nuttin!  :P
Mad Jack- Katy Perry, hands down.  She did kiss a girl, after all!  ;)
Demetrius- I don't even have a clue where to begin!  I'll just go with congratulations on defending your Beatles album...I guess?   ???

Now, on to the music!

If for no other reason than I got a 98% singing this on Guitar Hero: Metallica...

Scannin' the scene
in the city tonight
We're lookin' for you
to start up a fight
There's an evil feeling in our brains
But it's nothing new
you know it drives us insane

Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy!
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy

There is no escape
and that's for sure
This is the end we won't take any more
Say goodbye to the world you live in
You've always been taking
but now you're giving

Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy!
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy!!

Our brains are on fire
with the feeling to kill
And it won't go away
'til our dreams are fulfilled
There is only one thing on our minds
Don't try running away
`cause you're the one we will find

Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy!
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Ahahahaha!

Then, there's my contribution to the "Tool" box Blue started.

And, finally, my vote for strangest remake/cover I think I've ever heard

And now for something completely different:

La la la
La la la la
La la la
La la la la

No lyrics, but the theme song to "The Banana Splits" television show.

of course there were lyrics, great song, now guess whats stuck in my head :)

You're quite right, harb!  I just had the la la part in my brain, though.  Great...Now I've got the whole darn bunch stuck in my head! ::)

I don't think anyone's really arguing here, just discussing.   I agree that every decade has had standout music...And that goes all the way through history, not just my lifetime.

Stones or Zeppelin are definitely two different beasties.  Although the Zep members did come from the same roots, they took different directions if you look at where they were at the same time (once Zeppelin was formed).  I like to think that if Brian Jones lived, they would have converged much more, he was truly the experimental one in the Stones who enjoyed stretching their musical boundaries.

Ah, but have you heard Lily Allen's It's Not Fair?  Edgier themes and catchier tunes.  Or maybe I'm listening to too much BBC radio...  :D

Nickie, I totally agree.  Jones would have guided the Stones in a much different direction had he not been overshadowed by Jagger.  But what we ended up with ain't half bad.  ;)

Oh, sorry! I didn't mean we were arguing, I was talking about those teenagers and others that were mentioned earlier!  We're all far too grown up for that sort of thing!  LOL

Trite, perhaps, but it really does seem that the shooting stars are the ones that catch the imagination of the observer and then suddenly are gone, leaving their image burned on the retina of the conscious mind... what would music be today if the ones who couldn't sustain the burn were still with us?  It boggles the mind...

Glad this replaced the Gwen Stefani bubblegum that I woke up to.  It's nice to have a little head-banger... she never complains about what we listen to on the way to school!  LOLOL

Jinx.... you're fired. I can't get those 4 minutes of my life back... I could have been cutting myself, or overdosing on antidepressants.

You knocked me out
You bit my lip
You held me down
And kept me sober

Through all this time
With no regret
I guess that's just the way I liked it

Maybe
When I'm free
I'll realize all I really wanted
To share all the peace
Something that I never wanted

So wait
Don't go
Seems as though
It's getting scary
So please
Don't you go
Wait
Don't you go

You knocked me out
I can never be the same
I pushed you over
And here we will remain

Confusion new
Do you, and nothing's right
Nobody but you has to
Hold on to the fight
Just before you cry

It won't change you
It won't change me
And I don't even wonder why

Don't touch
Feel so much

And life
Yeah we cry
I know
Baby I know

But fate
I'm waking
I feel
I touch
I breathe
I cry
I know this

So wait
Wait
I said please
Smile just before you cry

Don't you go

You knocked me out
I can never be the same
I pushed you over
But here we still remain
You knocked me out
I can never be the same

I can take the fight
But don't
Don't take it away

You knocked me out
You bit my lip
You held me down and kept me sober

Someone told me to wear a helmet when I'm headbangin' in the mini-van, but somehow I doubt this is what he had in mind...   ;D
