that is a plaid mini skirt and not a proper kilt.  The first picture posted from MIRF was a kilt.

Yeah, I know, but she was at the Highland Fling, after all! I saw another lass a way from me that day in a proper kilt, but I was headed in the other direction. I couldn't just beg the girlfriend to go chase down another girl for a picture! I was in enough deep water with the pics I'd already gotten!

Aye there is a difference between a plaid mini-skirt and a kilt.

But never no mind.  There is no harm in showing celtic pride in one's own way.

I've seen a few here and there... Just last weekend I saw a husband and wife wearing kilts together and completely matching... It was kind of sweet...
