It is my understand from what I was told that many now use Facebook to communicate and share photos rather than the forums now.  If you have a Facebook account and share photos and such there, post what your Facebook link is.  Some of you I have found.  Most I have not.

And then there are those of us that do not facebook or feel the need to be that connected to the world........and really miss seeing those pictures here.

Thanks for the photo link. Nice camera work. I am a regular to ORF and this year is my first visit to MiRF. The pics are getting me in mood to make the trip. See you next Saturday.

Granted it was opening day, but I noticed something last year as well: there used to be numerous folks circulating around with really professional rigs, and when they snapped my picture they were usually giving me a card saying "go to this website and you can get the pictures I took of you there" I bought several beautiful shots of me and my friends in our garb from some of them. But ever since the year there was that movie being shot, I've seen a significant decrease in that kind of thing. So I'm wondering if it's just me, or perhaps the movie security folks chased them off a little too well? I kind of miss the wonderful pictures that they took.

Managed a whopping total of four hours at MiRF this year.  Yeesh, that's barely enough time to park the Jeep and take off a lens cap.

Steve, didn't we meet at the pub? I think I have a shot or two of you and your wife!

Jon.

I think we did. I vaguely (insert ale here) remember a photography discussion or two from last year. BTW--the Michigan village is fantastic. We'll be up on Sept 1st this year. Hope to see you again.

And thanks again for the quality photos...they really capture the flavor of the faire.

Headed out to MiRF for the first time this year on Saturday (been out of country for 6 weeks).  As I have nothing Ren-related, here's what I've been shooting recently:
