It appears the Mike McNutt and Elijah Woolcott have left the formal roster of Tartanic.  They are no longer listed as members on tartanic.net.  They have started a new band called Cu Dubh.  http://www.cudubh.com/Cu_Dubh/Cu_Dubh.html

As many know about bands... members come and members go but I thought last year Tartanic was extremely energetic and solid.  Mike and Elijah will be missed from that sound and I am sure several ladies will miss them for other reasons.

The Renaissance world is ever changing......

On another topic, Tartanic has released a new album:  http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/tartanic22#.TgwbPz_QQ4g.facebook

Very interesting ... I noticed that one of the members of Cu Dubh, Michael Huebner, is the former percussionist for Wolgemut.

He was also the other drummer last year for Tartanic at TRF.  It appears from last year to this year the only ones still there are Adrian and his wife Jill and Sophia.

Yeah, Michael gets around! He actually still performs with Wolgemut from time to time. He played with them at CTRF this spring, for example. Wolgemut is at NYRF beginning next week for a three-week stint, and they'll be followed by Cu Dubh, so I'm betting Michael will be there!
I came, I saw, I skipped to my lou.
