This is my last weekend for Bristol this year since I will be off to Des Moines Labor Day weekend and the following two weeks after that to perform. But, I will be at Bristol both Sat and Sun this weekend. I have friends from Chippewa coming down to visit on Sat, some knights. Then on Sunday I will be having fun doing a Viking with other Vikings there. We are making that day Viking day. Hope to see you ladies and your families there.

I will be at the faire tomorrow taking photos.  And it looks like Sunday maybe a go, especially now that Vikings will be there!

It is looking to be a very lovely weekend weatherwise, especially on Sunday. Very much looking forward to it.

The Earl and I are safe and sound at West Point Military Academy along the Hudson River. We will be at Bristol in spirit.

Our excursion to the New York Renaissance Festival and NYC has been cancelled due to Hurricane Irene.

Lord Clisto!!!

Roads here are closed. The rain is coming down in big sheets. Reports of downed trees in spots. The NY Thruway is closed from NYC to Albany. No sense going out in this slop if one can avoid it. Wearing garb on a day like today would not be fun a tall.

At least we are well supplied here.

Have fun today.

We had a wonderful visit on Sunday.  The faire sure had changed a bit since our last visit, 6 years ago.
