The dresses look a little odd on her (like they are too big) but I love the ideas behind them.   A more fitted dress distressed in this manner could really look stunning.

Look at the fairy photo thread in the photo part of the boards there are some really cool ideas.

Are you going for an all out ala Twigish or just for fun fae?

Tink

Thanks, girls!

Right now, just for fun fae, but I would love to eventually go all out like that!

Maybe start with a skirt that you like and add petalish layers kind of like this one?

Or pick a good color to use as a base and layer it up with fun colors of tulle like this skirt?

Or do the good base skirt and choose a good color that you like and go and get those really long garlands that are at craft stores and take it apart and stitch it to the skirt for a look kinda like this

I donno about you but I got some plans lol

I love, no, adore, the first dress.  The colors are marvelous.  Want, want, even though I wouldn't be a fae.

Aren't they neat?   You can read a bit about it here:

I'm sure she has more entries on the outfits as well.  They look great for any fantasy based faire.

Wow, after seeing all these dresses I wanna make me one. Such inspiration.
