Hate to say it but we got a fairly decent rain out here in El Paso this morning and it came out of the east.  I guess it was needed out here but there is nowhere the amount of tinder for wild fires out here like y'all got back east and I'm thinking you could put it to better use.  I did give the clouds a dirty look and said you're about 500 miles west of where you should be.

That's certainly a relief.  Bastrop County Complex is still only 75% contained, but even so, that's better than it was.

I'm trying to drum up some rain, but one of the gods got disgusted when I took off my clothes for a rain dance. I appeased her with a couple of shots of Jack Daniel's.
