I know some of the other fairs do something like this. Is TRF just too big with too many pubs?

I dont know if they do or not but one would think it a full days activity.
There are many places where compromise is expected;
LOYALTY is not amongst them.

Might be interesting... i would assume that it would be the "major" pubs, aka, Sea Devil, POW, etc...

Too many distractions! It's a fun idea, but I think it would be like herding cats in a yarn factory.  ;D
You can't move a group from point A to point A.5 in that place without half of them wandering away!

Sounds like fun - but instead of herding - maybe have a designated time to start at each pub?  Like Noon at POW, 1:30 at Sea Devil, 3 at German Village etc???
Don't delay, taste a tart today!

I have a pub crawl every weekend I go.
Unofficially at least.
The wife shops... I follow along and stop at each pub we come to. Often I wait there for her to finish shopping. She is a marathon shopper, pub crawl starts at 9 am and goes until dark.
Then camp crawl begins...

Oh yeah...The Fraser/Lech Pub Crawl.  I can see it now...We schedule based on nearby entertainment, go to a pub, grab a brew, see a show, go to next pub.

Wait, that's what we do now...:D

I'm sure that at some point or other in our long faire careers, many of us have at least one opportunity to "crawl".

Not me I'm a sane sensible sober scotsman.   It hurts the knees to much crawing in a kilt I much perfer to stumble, fall, roll, repeat etc.

Yep, but it's pretty short.....tent to festival, festival to tent!
