Oh! No! Two of our party from central Arkansas have crapped out!  So it's Merlin the Elder, Nimue, and some fresh meat, and two of his nieces will join us on Saturday, coming up from San Antonio.

Unfortunately we will not be making it on opening weekend.

Not sure about when/if we will be able to come out.  Too much to do with the house and we need to focus on getting the renovation projects finished.  So I have a happy   that we will see projects completed at home but I have a sad   that we may not make Sherwood.  Anyone have a money tree so we can do both?

Sniffle! Be sure to let us know if you can make it one weekend (or more!). We have no firm plans besides opening and hopefully closing, but plenty of nebulous ones for other weekends.

Hand warmers... I broke down and bought a catalytic heater.

I wanted to break down and get one after I saw the nightly temperatures, but alas we went abit too garb happy last month and now are a shoestring budget for the next month.

We shouldn't freeze to death, we have plenty of blankets and apple cider packets.. " shouldn't " is the key word there.

Sadly, we will not be camping this upcoming weekend, due to some mundane craziness. We will be staying at a hotel in Bastrop. We're still crossing our fingers to camp for Closing Weekend!

Loading up the truck, Sister, and dogs early tomorow (Friday) to be onsite and open the Patrons campgrounds. Was going to do all this afternoon and head up tonight, but decided I wanted one more night in a comfortable bed (have to sleep diagonally on trailer queen size bed).

Campgrounds will open once I have cleared out all the folks who take the back way in and once the paid attendant gets setup.

Laundry going, camping stuff packed...sorta. Just gotta sort through garb.
