A canon was discovered near Deep Bay British Columbia. But this isn't the type of cannon usally found at sea. It was an EOS 1000 and the card still works.

They found the owner using Google+. The camera had been in the ocean for over a year. but the SD card survived and was used to help find the owner.

Oh, this is about that camera.    My first thought was "how did a cannon wash up on shore???"

(maybe I do need that second cup of tea to wake me up even more)

Hahaha, don't feel too badly--it took me a second, too!  ;)

And I must say, that is really incredible!
