January Gathering

Mark your calendars for January 20-22, 2012.

This is the final Gathering before opening February 11.

Clans may bring in and setup their tents, trailers, cooking structures, etc. and keep them onsite until the week after closing.

For folks who are not members of a clan with a reserved camping area, you can claim a camping spot by purchasing a Friends of Faire (FoF) pass that includes season admission to the Faire and season camping. That includes camping in the General/Open campgrounds or the large RV/travel trailer camping area in the main parking lot. For the General/Open campgrounds, just show your FoF ID and you get a camping wristband for the weekend. For the main parking lot, I will tour there Friday afternoon/Saturday morning and pass out wristbands for FoF and selling to all the others.

If you are a FoF and setting up in the General/Open campgrounds or the main parking lot, make a small sign stating "FoF". I will verify the first weekend and afterwards there is no question.

Also, if you are FoF and get in late on opening weekend and get a lousy camping spot, you can relocate Sunday afternoon or Monday morning to a premium spot for the rest of the season.

Remember also that FoF get invited to any special event we have in the Faire area (e.g., crawfish boil, after hours party at the Pub).

Additionally, FoF counts for the minimum attendance numbers for the reserved clan camping.

Also, the season pass is not the same as FoF as it doesn't include camping.
